Cultural Exchange

The Norwegian Chinese Friendship Association was founded with a main mission to facilitate people-to-people exchanges between our peoples, where cultural exchange has an important focus. Our first cultural exchange focused on a music exchange project of music students from Norwegian and Chinese conservatories of music. Read more about this project here.

In celebration of the 70 Year Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries, we are pleased to announce that our collaboration partner in China – the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) is inviting the Oslo based Slemdal Big Band orchestra to China. CPAFFC will be hosting the 20 member Storband, arranging concerts in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, and Beijing. Read more about this project here.
